You may be happy to organise your own wedding entirely by yourself – if so, there’s a brilliant FACEBOOK GROUP which links couples with other couples who’ve already held ceremonies on the Algarve.  Most of the local suppliers are also in the group and can give a huge amount of great local advice:

But if you’d like to have someone take all the stress off your hands and make the whole process much simpler, it would be worth employing a WEDDING PLANNER.

They specialise in sorting out absolutely everything for you. They can even arrange for you to conduct the legalities here in Portugal too, if that’s what you want to do (although for simplicity, I’d really recommend couples doing this in the country they intend to live in)
